Kenny and Toffi are up for a risky adventure October 15, 2009

The girls in House B grew suspicious of Toffi, so Big Brother tried cleaning up the mess by asking Kenny to discreetly switch places with his twin. In the middle of the night, Kenny was ordered to sneak in the said house to secretly execute the task. He woke up his brother Toffi, and they immediately exchanged places. They were able to successfully finish the task; but unfortunately, the girls immediately noticed the transformation once again the following morning.

If you think the task is tough for the twins, you better think again. For the twins’ next task, Big Brother clearly requires Toffi and Kenny to stay inside the same house—House B—unobserved, with JM’s help. Can the twins overcome the said task up until 12 midnight in exchange for their assured permanent slots inside Big Brother’s house? JM assumes a dual role in Big Brother’s house October 15, 2009

In order for JP to continue his job, he decided to go on a voluntary exit. In line with the said decision, JM’s stay in the house is also put in jepopardy. Apparently, JM’s stay is supposed to rely on his twin brother’s; but given the said unfortunate situation, Big Brother opts to give out an exemption.

After JP left the house, JM is instantly summoned inside the confession room, and Big Brother imparts to him the critical decision JP made for his family. Given their special situation, JM is then given a special task—he has to push through with their main task, meaning he has to play both roles, or else he will be evicted along with Kenny and Toffi.

In order to start the task, JM is asked to take the role of JP in house B unnoticed; and surprisingly, he successfully pulls it off with Kenny’s help. How long could JM portray his dual role to assume his stay inside the house? Stay tuned on Pinoy Big Brother Double Up Uber and Primetime editions.

Of Rubbing Others The Wrong Way October 9, 2009

It’s a wonder how the Santos twins are keeping up with the charade, especially with the constant switching of outfits and personalities. On Uber, Kuya again ordered a switch, and a sleepy Kenny dragged himself back to House B – and to a meal of afritadang nguso ng baka.

Back at House A, the housemates were sharing a delicacy of sinigang na palaka. More sour than the food, though, was the heated exchange between Princess and Delio. Princess attempted to try her hand at cooking the frog, but was countermanded by the cook of the house. Eventually, the two made up, with Tom as mediator.

Aside from the exotic food, what kept House B in stitches was the comic repertoire of Melai. She was consistent with her “baby” routine, directed at housemate Toffi. Even Kuya was not exempt from her brand of humor, as she shared her “call of nature” anecdote.

Melai was not the only cause of smiles. Thanks to their willing participation in the Pintawan activity, the housemates were finally able to enjoy the pool and the Jacuzzi. The housemates of House B had their shot at it, and made creative use of their bodies. Karate kicks and butt-brushes were just a couple of the techniques used. House A busied themselves with a chain massage, but it seemed like only Tom enjoyed giving the massage. Perhaps the fact that he was giving it to Princess was reason enough?

The housemates donate goods for Typhoon Ondoy’s victims October 9, 2009

Big Brother finds a way to let his housemates extend a helping hand to Typhoon Ondoy’s victims. As a special task, he requests all the housemates to bring in something from their belongings which they can willingly donate to those poor souls outside the Big Brother house.

Most of the housemates brought in their most valuable clothes. According to most of them, since they don’t have enough to give in, they might as well deal with the sacrifice of letting go of their most precious clothing to show how much they truly care about those who lost everything they possess.

Among all the housemates, Delio seems to be the most generous giver; and included in his stock is one of his truly priceless shirt; the one that originally belongs to his late father. In line with his actions, he claims that there are more people out there who are in need of the said goods, so he is willing to settle with what he had left in his closet as of the moment. And upon hearing the lad’s explanation, Princess couldn’t help but burst into tears.

While others give out clothing, Jason decides on shelling out monetary help instead. Since he claims that most of the wardrobe he had brought are merely borrowed, he is in no position to give them away. Fortunately, he has found 200 pesos in his pocket that he could selflessly offer.

On the other hand, JP gets held up by a rather tight situation. Unfortunately, it seems that his vacation leave at work was not approved. He is left with only two choices: it is either he stays inside the house with his twin, or he leaves to attend to his familial duties as a provider. Sadly, the latter choice seems to possess the greatest weight for him, so he ends up telling Big Brother that he will be opting for a voluntary exit.

On Pinoy Big Brother Uber: Pintawan October 9, 2009

The housemates in House B got their first daily task from Big Brother today. On this afternoon’s Uber, the housemates got messy and creative with the task called Pintawan. They were asked to paint a portrait of their love life using one part of their bodies as a brush. Kuya asked Yuri, Melisa, Carol, Mariel, Yhel, and Kenny, who was still posing as his twin brother Toffi, to proceed to the activity area to do the task.

On Kuya’s signal, Yhel and Mariel dipped their elbows in paint cans and started working on their masterpieces. Carol and Kenny had paintbrushes attached in their chests which they used to express themselves, while Melisa and Yuri had an easier time using their fingers.

On the other hand, Big Brother called Yuri, Yhel, and Melisa to the confession room early this morning. The three girls brought with them some personal items which they are giving away as donations to the victims of typhoon Ondoy. They thought of the important things which some of our homeless countrymen need at this time. Yhel donated a bath scrubber and a black shirt, Yuri gave away her most treasured slippers, soap, and facial wash. On the other hand, Melisa donated a pair of socks, hair clips, and a bottle of perfume.

There was also the news of a housemate who left Kuya’s house today.
